Meet Our Owner

TRACEY JEFFREY

NQ Accounts was born from Tracey’s passion for small and growing businesses in regional areas. Born and raised in North Queensland, Tracey is keen to provide support to local industry and regional areas through NQ Accounts.

A Registered Tax Agent and Public Accountant (Institute of Public Accountants) with experience and specialisations in Tax and Business Services for individuals and small businesses, Tracey studied at James Cook University, graduating with a Bachelor of Business majoring in Accounting and Business Law. She is also a Qualified Justice of the Peace and a member of the Queensland Justices Association.

These areas of study have led her to pursue her passion and become an Accredited Advisor and Foundation Member of the Succession, Asset Protection & Estate Planning Advisors Association (SAPEPAA). Tracey now assists clients with protecting their family wealth by Preparing Wills and Power of Attorney, Trust Deed Upgrades and Variations, and protecting the equity in your family home and other assets including your Business.

Prior to her studies in the business area, Tracey was a qualified gym and group fitness instructor, and choreographer for cheerleading and dance troupes in and around the Townsville Region. Any spare time is spent catching up with friends and family when she's not in the office. RUTH HENLEY

With over 30 years’ experience in many forms of administration work, Ruth brings a wealth of knowledge and processes to the business. She is always happy and willing to answer queries and assist clients to meet their obligations regarding Tax and ASIC compliances.
In her spare time you will find her in the great outdoors, camping around Australia.

JESS DYKSTRA

Jess is a local Townsville girl with over 10 years experience in accounting. Jess graduated from James Cook University in 2014 with Bachelor of Business and became a member of the Institute of Charters Accountants in 2016.
Jess has a passion for small business and has had experience working with a diverse range of clients, including those in building and construction, retail services and primary production industries.
In her spare time, you’ll find Jess at the beach with her family.

LEIGH NASH

Leigh has over 35 years experience in the tax and bookkeeping industry. She performs such tasks as preparation of tax returns, financial statements, reconciliations and payroll, etc. She has extensive experience and knowledge of many software programs such as Xero and MYOB and is also Xero Certified. She is also able to assist with Small Business Government Grants for employers.
Leigh provides bookkeeping services to clients who require help with the day to day running of their business.
Leigh is married with 3 adult children and enjoys camping in her spare time.
